What type of battery is best for Nigerian conditions?
Lithium batteries last longer, charge faster, and handle heat better — but they are more expensive. Deep-cycle (SMF or tubular) batteries are also good and more affordable.
Will the battery spoil if there's no sun for days?
No. A fully charged battery can last 1–2 days without sunlight. Plus, you can set up your system to charge from PHCN when available.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery with solar?
On a sunny day, most batteries charge within 4–6 hours. We design systems to charge efficiently based on your location and panel size.
